Chuck Liddel -vs- Vanderlei Silva

If chuck liddel defeats sobral (babalu) which he prolly will cause he kicked his ass in the first fight and sliva wins his fight against who ever he faces and both sutain no injuries they will fight each out in nov for the ufc light heavywieght championship if memory severse me correct liddel beat ortiz and belfort who both beat silva so im kinda leaning toward chuck but who knos

Yes, but Rampage Jackson crushed Liddel, and Silva beat Jackson twice, once by KO and once by TKO. I think Chuck won't want to go to the ground with him, and I don't think his stand up is as strong. I'm expecting Silva to win by KO but I wouldn't be surprised if he did it by unanimous decision. One way or the other I can't wait to see this one.

He beat Jackson in Pride, though.

Different rules, different environment.

I like Silva more than Liddel, but he's not allowed to do some of the stuff he does in Pride, like kicks while they're on the ground, etc.

I love both of the fighters. I want Silva to win though simply because I like his game better. I do not know what will happen. Both of the fighters can win against each other. It will be a little harder for Sliva because he will be in Chucks home. I want Chuck to fight Sliva in Pride as well after this fight.

I think it will be a great match up. Vanderlie can duke it with anyone, and his takedowns are good as well. Obviously if the fight ends for Chuck, it will be when he is being hit on the ground, and if it ends for Silva, it will be when he gets punched standing up (I don't think we will see any kick KOs here).

I'd really like to see this fight.

It doesnt matter which figher Chuck and Wandy lost to or beat in the past because theyre both better fighters now. If Silva does well against Mirko then he'll do even better against Chuck. Cause Mirko would destroy chuck.......

He got lucky in the first fight, Id be very surprised to see him beat Babalu now. Hes got a long way to go before he gets OWNED by Wand

I think I want to see it go to the ground. I've always wondered what Chuck has on the ground now'a days. I think if he's been practicing enough jiu-jitsu he's gonna be comfortable on the ground(becuase he might train it 5 times a week, and though we don't see it he could be great on the ground), and he is a D-1 wrestler, so figure he's already got a one up on most people on the ground.

My big question is this, what's up with Tito thinking he can beat Chuck(taunting him in the octogon, callin em out in the prefight interview)... he's gotta be nuts. Striking... straight to Chuck... 100%... wrestling straight to Chuck 100%(And correct me if I'm wrong, it's Tito's strong point is it not? And he's not even in the same leauge!). I hope he can submit Chuck, becuase short of a submission I belive he doesn't have a chance.

IF you guys saw Chucks fight in Pride with Alister Oversteem (whatever his name is, the kickboxing dutch dude) you see how badly chuck got beaten down and beaten down, Ive never seen someone take such hard kicks to the mid section and head and get punched as hard as Chuck, and he STILL Ko'd Oversteem. Point is no ones KOing Chuck. Babalu might submit him if he can hold Chuck down, but Chuck is so good at getting back to his feet. I think Babalu has a much better chance of beating Chuck than Silvia. Silvia will stand and trade, and get KO'd
