Nope, a simple ignorant side headlock, standing without an arm.

![]() ![]() ![]() | My first reaction would be to lock my arms tightly around their waist, step around so that im in front(toe to toe), post my knee(the inside of my knee) against the outside of their knee and roll back, then to break the lock from a top position. Or, I would just try to slip my hand through the lock(and try to get a hold of one of their wrists) and use brute force to loosen the lock and pop my head out, taking their back........ |

![]() | If you have my with your right arm around my neck, i would put my left forearm in front of your throat and reach behind your thigh/knee with the my right hand and pick you up and slam you, with me taking side or mount, very very simple move. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah that's a scoop throw.....But your neck would still be held and choked really tight so it would be hard to slam them.......You would still be in the headlock when you hit the ground so you'd have to hop to their otherside and put your hands/arms/elbows into their face and push off(its all leverage) breaking the lock. |

![]() ![]() | Remember that the body goes where ever the head goes. If you have me in a side headlock with your left arm I would take my left arm and use it to trap your right arm or block it from hitting me...then take my right hand and grab the top of your head(hair) and pull your head back...as I did I would get my right leg behind your left leg and stand up straight and use my right leg to sweep your left foot as you are going back...from there you can reverse it to a front face lock...or go to the ground and end in side mount....if on the street I would reach and grab the nose or throat instead of the hair. Whether you are in a tourney or on the street the side head lock is a pretty easy position to escape from...BJJ has some really good escapes and counters as do MMA, JKD, Kali, Silat etc. If I get someone in a side head lock I do not like to stay standing with them...instead I like to kick a leg out and go to the ground...or drop to a knee and take it to the ground to make it more difficult for them to counter.
