THE WORLD’S GREATEST FIGHTERS REDEFINE FITNESS,
WITH THE OPENING OF A NEW STATE OF THE ART MIXED MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING CENTER IN THE HEART OF HOLLYWOOD
Grand opening on August 15th welcomes clients to come experience a whole new kind of fitness

LOS ANGELES, CA - Bas Rutten and Randy Couture, two of the most recognized names in mixed martial arts (aka ultimate fighting – a sport that draws upon techniques from boxing, kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, judo, wrestling and other martial arts and combines them all into one art form), are bringing their expertise to the public after dominating the sport for more than a decade. Rutten and Couture are champions in the mixed martial arts ring and cage, but they are not done utilizing their skills and talent. Rather, they are taking their status as legends, formulating an entire brand, and making it accessible to their fans and public. At their new Hollywood gym (aptly named LEGENDS), Rutten and Couture will be training and developing top notch fighters under their own care, but more importantly, will be putting their skills to work in order to secure desired results for any and all interested clients.

Rutten and Couture are joining forces with the experts behind the World Fighting Alliance (WFA) and Los Angeles’ Bomb Squad gym, to create LEGENDS, L.A.’s premiere mixed martial arts training center. Leaders in the fighting world, both in and out of the ring, are joining the LEGEND’S team. One of those figures is Jeremy Lappen, Chief Executive Officer and owner of the World Fighting Alliance. Lappen brings extensive experience in the production and management of a long list of martial artists and boxers, including Muhammad Ali. This summer Lappen initiated and orchestrated one of the most historic fight nights in mixed martial arts history at the Forum in Los Angeles, creating a benchmark for future mixed martial arts events. LEGENDS will be an official training center of the WFA and many of the WFA’s top fighters will train out of the LEGENDS’ gym.

Famed Muay Thai fighter and owner of the renowned Bomb Squad gym, Chris Reilly will also be joining LEGENDS as a partner. An L.A. native, Reilly is truly a legend on the martial arts fighting circuit. Noted for his stunning, knockout defeat of notorious fighter Saksit Chor Stripasert at the King’s Birthday Championship in Thailand, Reilly led the charge for American fighters overseas. Reilly will be closing his Bomb Squad gym to bring his members and staff with him to LEGENDS. Reilly is just one of the many LEGENDS that will be available to help you achieve the body, strength and control of a professional martial artist.

Names like Bas Rutten, Randy Couture, Jeremy Lappen, and Chris Reilly, have made LEGENDS the primary workout destination for many Hollywood celebrities. With their signature VIP service, LEGENDS’ VIP members enjoy a variety of amenities, including private locker room service, exclusive sportswear, and discounted rates on LEGEND’S select fitness and Mixed Martial Arts seminars.

The first ever training center of its kind, LEGENDS is opening on La Brea Avenue one block south of Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of Tinseltown. The state-of-the-art gym will specialize in mixed martial arts, but will offer every type of traditional workout including Muay Thai kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu and boxing. Whether you are looking for an effective calorie burning regimen, or an intense fighter’s training session, LEGENDS can accommodate you. Their professionals are made up of some of the most respected figures in the fighting/fitness industry who make your goals their top priority. Some of LEGEND’S instructors include Jeremy Williams (top pro boxer and trainer on ESPN’s The Contender), Eddie Bravo (Brazilian Black Belt Jiu Jitsu instructor and the only American to ever submit a Gracie), Karo Parisyan and Jason “Mayhem” Miller (top UFC/WFA pro fighters and mixed martial arts instructors).

So ditch that ordinary workout and the monotony too often associated with fitness. Spice up your gym life at LEGENDS where you’ll get a taste of the exciting fitness world of mixed martial arts. The LEGENDS fitness craze starts August 22nd. For more information and special rates, visit www.legendsmma.com or come down and meet Randy, Bas and the rest of the Legends crew in person at:

I hope this doesn't mean that Bas's comeback was shortlived!
And I hope Couture continues to fight as well...I can't imagine balancing owning and operating a full service training center and competing at the level their at.

I thought Couture had officially retired... did he talk about possibly coming back?
