I thought he could've been alot more dominating though.

In those two Sambo matches!!! He could've thrown his opponents and armbarred them faster than he did...

Aside from that, Rickson was pinning his opponents, especially the guy at the end for a while. So then how come he lost to Ron Tripp by pin? Rickson should have been given more time to reverse. Did Ron throw him really hard and pin him for a really long time? What the hell happened? Does anyone have a video of their match?

I searched all about Sambo and i cant find the point scoring system.

from what Rons brother said Ron took down Rickson and Rickson fell backwards onto his back, and that ended the match right there. Apparently Rickson didnt know the rules of that tourney about the fact that if the back touches the mat its an automatic loss. From all accounts Rickson argued it immedietly and seemed genuinely confused over the disqualification. He didnt read the rules I guess, but thats part of the event, the rules , lol, so he lost fair and square far as I heard.
As far as armbarring those guys fast, the speed of finishing a match isnt as important as winning it, so Rickson was being cautious. theres a reason he's so many tourneys
