| Registered User | I'm starting this tai-chi class at college today so any insights/benifits would be cool

![]() | I definately think it can help with relaxation, stretching etc. The benefits of Tai Chi are well documented. They may not directly benefit your MMA stuff, but indrectly I think it will. Take it with an open mind and try to find common threads in all combat arts. It can't hurt. (much!) |

__________________ Tang Soo Do for those who dont know = 60% Soo Bahk 30% Northen Chinese 10% Southern Chinese TSD is both a hard and soft style, derriving hardness from Soo Bahk, and soft flowing movements from Northen Chinese systems. edit:I cant belive i bought into this ^ lies, lies. TSD is shotokan with a Korean name and an emphasis on hip movement. |
