amateur mma in so cal

i wanted to know if anyone has information on amateur mma in the southern california area. i'm interested in competing but would like to know where, when, the rules, etc.

Im pretty sure the closest thing to amatuer MMA is the Pankration tournaments http://fightleague.org/home.html sounds perfect...its in your area.

thank you very much for the info... do you know if you have to be a member of one of the gyms to participate?

No problem man....im not sure though...if the gyms are close to you stop by and ask or you could email one of the gyms to find out.Good luck to ya either way!
