it has come to light that brazil has been importing cows and beef from europe, home of the mad cow disease, until recently. several countries have banned the importation of brazilian cows and beef because of this, so if you're in brazil, beware of the whopper and bigmac! later!

Mad cow disease was an epidemic that happened in the early 90's in the UK. Since then they did research and found out what caused it. Feeding cattle left over sheep bones intestines ect an not feeding them Grain. I dont think they are still doing that in europe but I could be wrong.

lol what most fools dont realize is that European beef based products have been constantly available throughout North & South America throughout the entire time of the Mad Cow epidemic.
The authorities quietly fear that 75% of american people may be infected with the disease. As it can take several years to show symptons many of you are already walking time bombs. This is currently being hushed up because of the mass hysteria it would cause if it was confirmed. Happy Soy Burgers people.

pat - have you seen vido clips of infected cows? that sh*t looks horrible! don't say i didn't warn you...besides, when you are down there, you should have plenty to eat without going near beef, haha!
don't forget to bring me back some souvenirs!shimora - well, i think i'm prob worse off than most americans... during the early 90's i took a couple of trips to europe, and i ate considerable amounts of beef. i think that most americans, and more importantly forum members, should be comforted by the fact that as long as i don't get it, they prob won't either...unless all of the infected beef was intentionally sent to the US by a huge multi-national european conspiracy, in which case i will be better off than most. hmmm? later! I guess that means I'll have to stick to safe meats like crocodile and capibara when I get churasco.
