i was checking the fighter's database on the adcc website and it lists there that Royce Gracie lost to Harold Howard in UFC3...
if my memory serves me correctly i don't think Royce lost any matches in those early UFC's...
anyone know WTF is going on?

Royce did not lose to harold. Royce was unable to fight him in UFC3 due to exhaustion I think. Anyway harold went on to fight Steve J the alternate and got his butt kicked.

Royce's corner threw in the towel, because he just got through taking a beating from Kimo before tapping him. He looked pretty bad, but he was in the octagon waiting for the signal. They just didn't want to risk anything.

The reason it went on Royce's record as a loss is that his corner threw in the towel right before the fight started. I've always wondered why the Gracie Train even came to the ring in the first place if Royce wasn't going to fight. Or was it a last minute decision? Anyone know?

Harold Howard knocked Royce out with a front flip-heel kick to Royce's head. Man ,what's wrong with you guys? Can't you remember?

Harold Howard now sells BJJ gis called HCK (Howard Combat Kimonos)!

Glad I can help clear things up.

It looked like Royce changed his mind after he got in the ring.He turned around and said he felt he was too injured. It may be a tecnical loss, but does Harold Howard think he won?

Hounddog, nice joke! Howard never beat Royce in the ring, which is what truly counts. Geez, Howard got his butt kicked by Mark Hall after absorbing some pretty mediocre blows to his ugly mug..Royce could beat him to death while sleeping. And Royce isn't even really a top flight BJJ fighter!

Its awesome how Howard turned a great victory against BJJ into a career of making BJJ gis. I think he even makes wife beater grappling tank tops.
