We DEFINITELY have a name that sub guy in my gym, he drives me nuts sometimes because he will interrupt our Coach to tell us the japanese name... If I wasn't such a mild mannered nice guy I would tell him that if I wanted to learn JJJ or Judo I wouldn't be in a BJJ gym...

Man that is some funny stuff. I know all of those names. Especially the one that is always hurt or makes excuses come fight time. What is the name for the guy who will interupt the instructor teaching a seminar in order to show that instructor a "really cool flow drill I came up with on my own" ? I know a guy who does this at every seminar and it is all I can do not to stand up a bum rush the guy and hold him down while yelling dog pile to the rest of the class hoping they will follow suit and jump on him...
Good stuff though

the future champ: "always has an injury or excuse when it’s time to compete"
this seems to carry with alot of guys, they are awesome in training and their balls shrivel up when a tournament comes around. Next to a fight, a tourament is the best way to test your skills, and you learn more there than in 1 fight than in 20 matches rolling around in class |

you should number these guys so i can respond 1 at a time or someone should tell me how to put the whole list in quotes so I can respond point by point btw very funny there are the same kind of guys in every ma and they make life a pain in the asss sometimes but I think we've all been guilty of some of the neg stuff on that list on occasion.

ahhhh. "the heel hook guy" AKA "the leg lock king"
I want to kill these fools. All they ever do is leg locks from the guard. I got caught by one of these guys twice last night with the same ankle lock when he was in my guard. These guys kill me...How about developing a f'ing game! |

What happened to the "Im not that flexible guy" the dude who will pull guard and when you pass it say...you know what. He will crank your arm, go for the choke, put you in a tight figure four, but once that guard is passed hes gasping for air and making noise. Alwasy to reply, "ouch, im not that flexible." Get over it.

I'm the 'take every advantage' guy for sure...move away from walls or other people, yelling ouch if i'm losing position, holding onto a guy's ankle or foot so we can't actually do bjj positions (try it sometime, it's fun, and they usually can't do anything about it either), saying i'm sick or nauseous when i'm actually just gassed so i don't have to end up mounted and tap, holding on to his gi at the wrists when i'm gassed, damn, if you guys have any more ideas please let me know.
