Default Battle at the Sun (Mohegan Sun)

Greetings to trainers, coaches and fighters,

It is my distinct pleasure to announce the USKBA event "BATTLE AT THE SUN" which will be held at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville CT on Sunday October 29th.

All the matches will be conducted under the USKBA AMATEUR Mixed Martial Arts rules. Please refer to these rules at http://www.uskba.com/amma_rules.htm. They are different than professional UFC or Pride rules.

If you are an amateur athlete interested in competing under these rules at the "BATTLE AT THE SUN" please send me the following information;

Name
Email
Phone number
Weight you compete at
Height
Age
Gym you train at
Trainer's name
Trainer's contact info
RECORD: Please let us know ALL your accomplishments. All amateur sports including kickboxing, boxing, jiu jitsu and wrestling. If this is your first MMA event but you are a Div 1 wrestler, please share that info with us!

In addition, the USKBA requires all amateur participants to submit three documents in order to compete
1) A letter stating that you "have never engaged in a professional style mixed martial arts event".
2) A letter from your trainer stating that you are "skilled enough and healthy to compete".
3) The completed "Amateur MMA Physical Form" from a physician (dated within 45 days of event) that you have taken a physical and that you "are healthy to compete" which is available at http://www.uskba.com/formnjsacbphysical060517a.doc

I will be striving to make the most even and fair matches possible and to give as many athletes as possible an opportunity to compete at this fine venue. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.

I forwarded your message to my instructor... He fights MMA.

In any case... what does it cost for a spectator?

Just make sure he understands that these are amateur matches conducted under the USKBA AMATEUR Mixed Martial Arts rules. Please refer to these rules at http://www.uskba.com/amma_rules.htm. They are different than professional UFC or Pride rules.

For tickets contact the promoter (I"m just the lowly matchmaker LOL!)
