I just heard from one of my coworkers that Inoki stated he is hoping to set up a fight between Mike Tyson and Fujita. He wants it to take place in the US. I wonder of he can scrape up the money or interest.

This was reported in a major Japanese sporting magazine a few weeks ago. Apparently Inkoi wanted to recreate his fight with Ali but with two current fighters. The original article said it was Otsuka that Inoki was considering to fight Tyson.

Either way, I would love to see this.

Tyson costs a lot of money. I don't see anyone in NHB coming up with the cash it would take to get Tyson to put his badazz rep on the line. If they went completely no rules maybe Tyson would go for it, the guy is a freaking animal.

Otsuka? Fujita? What?!

Otsuka will lose, I have no doubt. Fujita could win, but he lacks sub skills and I'm afraid that he takes a few of those blows to the head via Tyson and drop within a second. He has a chin, but unless you're used to getting hit by a guy like Tyson, you have no chance withstanding two blows by the guy. Especially without boxing gloves on. Igor could either get knocked the **** out or beat the hell out of Tyson. I mean I remember Enson landing more blows then Igor when they were throwing those bombs at each other, if Tyson landed as much as Enson, Igor is out. If Igor is smart, he'd make sure his shot is perfect and just take down Tyson, and well its Igor's fight. Kerr could take Tyson, as long as he remembers that just because he throws a leg kick, he's not a kickboxer. Fujita might get rocked if this happens
