Didn't you see him on elimidate? He didn't do too well, but he seemd straight.[/quote]
Yes I did see him on there and he was just acting straight. If you saw it then you saw him take the girl to the dojo and body slam her on the mat, what a dickhead he is. Then he goes bantering around saying "I can kick anyones ass in the world". Hes a jackass, then he has the nerve to slam Marcelo Garcia in the ADCC when Marcelo was wiping the map with him at 100lb weight disadvantage. But for the record, Ricco is out of the closet and is an admitted Gay man, no joke or starting rumors, its true. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...D%26ie%3DUTF-8 |

How does a thread like this even start? Why is the original question asked even relevant, or to use a Seinfeld comparison, threadworthy (as opposed to spongeworthy)?
It would seem that this forum merits discussion about many topics OTHER than a person's sexual orientation. In other words, why would anyone give a shit, unless they were a subsciber to the National Inquirerer and a steadfast fan of Hollywood Tonight? |

As for being gay; I've seen too many guys linger too long in the guard, I've seen too many guys hug and kiss each other after a match, I've seen Tito cry like a little girl, I've even seen Forrest Griffin "spoon" a guy after choking him out, and braggin' about it afterwards - talk about date rape!

Furthermore tard, heres from someone who has written about Riccos homosexuality: " RussT, why haven't you responded to any of the posts and threads made about your highly controversial Ricco Rodriguez book review? RICCO RODRIGUEZ BOOK REVIEW By Russ T. As most well versed students of literature know, quite often a novelist will choose allegory to represent his or her true intent. Lord Of The Rings fans know Tolkien's epic represented the ultimate struggle between good and evil found in Christianity's Holy Bible. Mark Twain fans know he was actually speaking out against the evils of slavery and racism in 19th century America and not merely describing the misadventures of several young country boys. Jonathan Swift's satirical work defended the basic human rights of the Irish and pointed out their habitual mistreatment by the English. Along the same lines, Ricco 'Suave' Rodriguez delves into the hidden and seldom discussed homoerotic undertones of ultimate fighting. While most people associate ultimate fighting with brutality and bloodshed, Rodriguez realizes ultimate fighting is the perfect symbolic vehicle to represent something entirely different. In fact, something so different the philistine masses of American society will never grasp the brilliant allegorical overture of Rodriguez's modern day literary masterpiece. Rodriguez clearly symbolizes his struggles and hardships as a homosexual in not only a homophobic society, but what on the surface appears to be a strongly anti-gay ultimate fighting sub-culture. It is left to the reader to realize Rodriguez is recounting the extraordinary difficulties in coming to terms with his own sexuality, including symbolic references to fights, actually representing sexual relationships with other men. Rodriguez's emotional description of the losses he suffered in ultimate fighting represents homosexual relationships ending despite his wishes. Furthermore, training descriptions detailing the hardships involving his ultimate fighting career are clearly an allegorical reference to progressively building up the courage to come out of the closet as an openly gay man. Struggles involving his family symbolize the historic homophobia and intolerance among Puerto Rican culture. Also of interest is the mention of mma groupie Shiloh Mc Iver, who in reality represents the deviant sexually promiscuous homosexual sub-culture responsible in large part for the high AIDS rate among gay men. It is refreshing to finally see one section of the gay underworld take to task another for their lack of responsibility in their lifestyle. Finally, the book concludes surrounding accomplishment of Rodriguez's final goal: capturing the ultimate fighting heavyweight belt, symbolic of a gay man finally coming out of the closet. I highly recommend this well-written contemporary masterpiece bound to eventually leave Ricco 'Suave' Rodriguez spoken of in the same manner as Tolkien, Swift, and Twain. Regardless of sexual orientation, this book will captivate the reader, possibly even creating curiosity. RussT " 2nd, its against the rules to slam someone like that, again, retard, thats why you dont do it in a tournament like that, especially to Marcelo who at such a wieght disadvantge was humilitaing Ricco and Marcelo is so well respected and a nice guy. So he deserves to get slammed because he's in total control of Ricco and the fag cant stand it so he breaks the rules? |

Guys - just some friendly internet advice here, if you want women to loosen up and say interesting things, don't call them out on it when they start too. 'Sides, if anybody around here is on the make, it's those guys in the 'random bikini pics' thread.

Ricco Rodriguez is a dick for slamming Marcelo, that is totally uncool... it really is..
He knew it was against the rules and still did that, and to do that to one of the best grapplers in the world, who is so small, especially in comparison is a real dick thing to do. He was trying to hurt him out of embarassment... he's not a class act like Marcelo. Marcelo doesnt get up and spit on him after he chokes him out like a little girl...
