![]() | Ya, this is really too bad. He had great potential and so much to accomplish. I know it is a tough thing to go through, losing someone so close to you. I feel really bad for Rickson. And I wish him the best for himself and his family.

![]() | Latest reports is that Rockson died in a motorcycle accident and the gruesome details is that he was identified by a tatoo on his head, since he was physically, virtually unrecognizable other wise. A shame. Condolences to the Gracie family |

![]() | What a tragedy. Being a father to 5 sons, I can't imagine a crueler twist of fate than to outlive any of them. May God give Rickson and his family comfort and strength in this time of sorrow. [Edited by judo guy on 02-10-2001 at 01:25 AM] |

![]() | I have read this over and over thinking it was a joke. But I guess not. I am deeply saddened by this tragedy. The whole brazilian jiu jitsu and mixed martial arts world will be saddened by this un timely death. Unfulfilled potential is the oldest story ever told and yet it is told once more. We will forever debate how great of a fighter Rockson would have been just like Rolls before him. What a pity,my heart goes out to Rickson and the entire Gracie family. God what a shame! |

| Advanced | Damn,I wish that this was being made up.Even ifit would have been a sick joke.It just goes to show us that bad things can happpend to the people we look up to.Just like Big Bird said,we will always be debating on how good Rockson could have been.Rockson was at the top of my list of people to train with.I wanted to get to train with the "Best" just because he is the son of the best.I wonder what this means for Ricksons career now. Will he ever fight again? Damn. RIP Rockson.
