Unhappy

I am ashamed to say that with my somewhat flawed attempt to promote mixed martial arts and reach a better understanding of the arts of my Chinese heritage, I have contributed to starting a war between traditionalists and modernists over at kung fu online. It's sad because there used to be interesting discussions there. You wouldn't believe how much trolling and BS is going on over there! It's kind of funny. I'm bored so I just thought I'd share that.

Well, with people like Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeah, and Jet Li to help promote kung fu through their movies, the kung fu crowd will always make the real money. The grappling/mma crowd will never succeed in the movie biz and will always remain a smaller budget operation.

Question

Knightsabre?

Don't feel bad, that war has been going on for sometime. It just flamed up really big at the moment. What is really sad is that there are some really good Kung Fu guys on that site that are really open minded and actually train realistically but all the morons that practice death touches, never spar and spending there time rooting and punching air to defend against shoots make them all look bad. Now that is sad.-ED
