This was possibly, the stupidest video clip ive ever seen(besides that guy with the nunchakus who did that bogus backflip, you know the one, where he fell on his head, lol.) Seagal was throwing 90lb guys that werent doing anything but running towards him with outstretched arms. I mean, who cant throw one of those guys? I would walk up, grab his sleeve, do a fireman carry takedown and get side control then id mount that fool and choke his ass out or keylock him. He gets no respect from me. I wish I could "fight" some of those guys. Looks like fun.

    Famous Karate Kid quote....
Daniel: Hey, what kind of belt do you have?
Miyagi: Canvas. JC Penney, 3.98; You like?
    Daniel: [laughs] No, I meant...
Miyagi: In Okinawa, belt mean no need rope to hold up pants.
    Miyagi: [laughs; then, seriously] Daniel-san,
Miyagi: [he taps his head] Karate here.
Miyagi: [he taps his heart] Karate here.
Miyagi: [points to his belt] Karate never here. Understand?

LOL. Those guys ran up to him doing one zombie move. They just grabbed his sleeves softly.

In all honesty, Seagal should be given respect for his dedication to aikido. But that's it, though, just in AIKIDO. I remember reading some article where he bullied some stuntmen on a movie set claiming he could "take apart any man in 3 seconds with aikido", and those stunment were good friends with "Judo" Gene LeBell. Yeah, Seagal got his ass handed to him, literally. Twice. And he pissed in his pants lol.

I use to idolize Seagal when I was a kid, but after some growing up and watching some E! documentary on him, he's an asshole in real life. Now I don't respect him as much as I use to.
the story is true as to regards to Gene LeBell.

He is an actor with martial arts experience. That is all. No SF, no NHB, nada.

He was involved in MA during his youth, moved to Japan, possibly to avoid the draft (this part is debated), and then came back to the States. Eventually he was "discovered" and ended up in films. Anything else is an urban legend.

    HEY! Don't knock little girls!

A guy who really hated Seagul's guts gave him credit for his whatever Dan in Aikido, but that was about it.

The Special Forces involvement - *Under Siege* - his best movie (but then, the only one with a really Big Name Actor in it - Tommy Lee Jones is the coolest!) may have given rise to that...

I heard it this way: Segal is in the habit of showing off by walking up to janitors on set and other people with no fighting experiance, and countering their big slow punches or getting out of their choke holds. So they bring in Lebell to help with fight scenes behind Segal's back, and Lebell happens to sit down next to a bucket or mop or something. Segal comes up and ASKS Lebell to put him a choke, because he can "get out of anything." Lebell does, and Segal can't do a thing about it, so Labell lets him go. Segal insists it was a fluke or he wasn't ready or something, and asks Lebell to do it again. Lebell chokes him out and leaves him on the floor.

Don't know how true it is, but it makes me laugh.

Those guys who are attacking him are not doing anything but getting ready to let segal throw throw them. That is a poor demonstration of true self defense. I Have a friend that does Aikido, I do Taekwondo, hapkido and BJJ. I don't think an aikido practicioner knows what it is like to spar "street fightinbg" style where an opponent puts up full resisant
