    Monson v Sylvia

Who's gonna take it? My bet's on Monson, but Sylvia is too tall to strike with, so I'm a little nervous.

I just find it funny that Monson is a pro boxer, who can't strike with Sylvia. Kinda like a skill set that's suddenly become irrelavant.

Monson knows he's not going to strike with Sylvia. And Sylvia knows it as well. They will essentially both try to impose their "games" on the other and whoever succeeds will win.

I interviewed Monson a little while back, check it out on youtube if you're interested:

He was in Utah for the AGGRO grappling tournament.

Monson can strike with sylvia, he just can't Depend on it! Who has Monson fought , I am honestly asking I have been searching the pro databases of the IBF & IBC for him & I can't find him anywhere, any ifo on any of his bouts! He should really push the fact he is a pro boxer, I can't think of any who have done that, contrary to popular opinion! so please if anyone has a record of any of his pro bouts could you pm me, Monson is actually my favriot fighter so being a boxer myself it would be a great gift to know his background thanks, & thanks J-luck for bringing this up, by the way do you want tickets to my title fight in dec since you live remotly close, I'll comp you!

Monson will take him down and finish it on the ground. No one in the world can stop monson on the ground, that guy is a monster. Slyvia is done.

i found this about his boxing" Jeff is now primarily a BJJ man, but has a 2-0 pro-boxing record. And as a 5’9" heavyweight, Jeff generally faces taller training partners and opponents than himself. But he employs strategy to overcome the height discrepancy."

He hasn't fought on any big fightcard, but he has had 6 pro bouts, and won all 6. I don't know how seriously he plans on taking it... the more serious he gets, the better the competition he'll face, and the more you'll hear about it.

6-0. The last UFC the announcers had him as 5-0 but he's won a bout since.

This fight is taking place next month at UFC 65: Bad Intentions. Matt Hughes vs GSP will also be on the card.... GSP by TKO

Monson is just not your usual heavyweight. Sylvia has never fought anyone like him. He is one of the best grapplers in the UFC and he WILL take Sylvia down and keep him there. Im positive he will beat Sylvia, whether by a lay n pray decision, GnP TKO, submission, cut, or anything, he will be the new HW champ of the UFC.

No, he IS the best grappler in the UFC and the ADCC superwieght champion, he is phenomenal on the ground, just amazing and strong as hell. Sylvia has NO CHANCE whatso ever, I dont care who he trains with, IF Monson gets him to the ground, which he will. I just hope the odds are 3-1 for Slyvia so I can make so big bucks on the fight. This is a sure thing

This is true. But besides Lister, he is the BEST grappler in the UFC, I think Oma may disagree, but this is my opinion, though I welcome debate. GSP... lol. If he lasts to round 4 I'll laugh and call Hughes an old man.
