Default Franklin: Beat The Fkc Down

That was THE worst beating Ive seen since Pat Smith beat the peckerwood in UFC 2 or 3, totally worked and now his nose is smashed to all hell. Whoever said he hasnt beaten anyone good, well, thats apparently the case, he got OWNED.
Florian has some awesome reversals and escapes, but that Muscle shark was too much, though not impressive, he has NO submission skills

I'm reminded of the prediction a brilliant handsome young man made earlier in the day...

Quote:
Silva is going to completely dominate the fight and knock Richie Rich out in the first round...I think Silva will turn out to be the best fighter the UFC has ever seen.

If I'm wrong I'll hang up my keyboard in shame and never post again

Yeah, the florian fight was dissapointing to watch. That knee to the face was gold though in the Silva fight!

I actually thought Franklin was gonna win. But, ive always hated him as a UFC champ. I knew he was so overrated. Hell, he started training MMA at like 26 years old. Sorry, "Ace", you were never near #1 in the world as so many people claimed. I love when a champion is dethroned. Next up, the cockiest, most arrogant shit talking Champ will be stripped of his belt by GSP. And Sylvia by Monson.

Please please give some details...I didn't get to see it and I really really need to hear a graphic description of Richie's beating

And I hope you're right about Matt Hughes. I dont like him. I think he's a cocksucker.

Matt Hughes is a true champion but will get defeated by St. Pierre. Hughes is just the most cockiest SOB ever! Have you seen and heard his antics lately? In fact, all the MFS fighters talk shit now...

Chuck Liddell is the best UFC champ right now. He's untouchable. Sherk is too.

I like Chuck, he's a bad motherfucker and he doesn't need to shoot his mouth off or act like a lame ass egomaniac.

The worst offender of all is Tito...I love watching him fight and after seeing him coach on the Ultimate Fighter series I think he's a decent guy but his behavior is pure grade 8. He needs to get some class.

Now lets get back to Rich "the math nerd" Franklin...I want a blow by blow review!

Sherdog has a blow by blow commentary...but basically, it ended quickly once he got the Thai clinch and delivered knees.

Franklin definitely needed to take this one to the ground.

I also think Matt Serra put it best...apparently the WW belt gives you license to be a "penis." I would love to see GSP whoop his ass.

A buddy of mine met Chuck Liddell on the streets while stumbling around drunk. Said Liddell was a hell of a nice guy...was willing to take pictures with a group of drunk 21 year olds.

The two squared off and sized each other carefully for a minute or two. Then the inevitable clinch. Silva throws some close knees, which seems to irritate Franklin a bit, and drove up against the fence. Silva got a solid two handed hold against the back of Franklin's neck, and after holding that for a good 30 seconds or so, finally landed a solid knee square into Franklin's face. That staggered and wobbled the soon to be former champ, and sent him stumbling backward. Then Silva threw the knockout kick, sending Franklin to the ground, and Big John stopped it.

Excellent!

I dont really hate Rich I just want the title holders to be the best and I never thought he was...sure he hadn't lost in something like 3 years but I wasn't very impressed by 99% of the guys he was fighting. I seriously think Silva is going to be wicked to watch!

I saw the fights, last night i didnt though.

Sherk, had a very dominating performance, but Kenny is just slick on the ground, and Sherk couldnt captilize when he had his back and the mount. Sherk has submission skills, just wanted to clear that up cuz some retard said he didnt.

Silva, actually got hit by Franklin twice with punches but nothing big. Silva had a brutal Thai clinch and just un loaded. Like you all have heard, many knees to body and like to two knees to his face. Then a high kick and another leg strike. Franklin ran away from him like a little bitch and fell down. Then Jon Mcarthy just stands over Ace for like 10 seconds waving his arms over him

Richs nose was broken to all hell, smashed by one of those knee, he was COMPLETLEY overpowered and no answer for that dudes clintch.
Sherk has submission skills? Hmmm, name one submission he went for during that whole 25 minute fight, I didnt see him go for anything.
KEn Flo's enterance with 'the Good, the BAd and the Ugly' music was just plain SICK, awesome

^ Excellent point, Oma. From all five rounds of that bloody fight he couldnt even come close to locking in a sub, therefore he has no submission skills... Tool.

But yeah, "Ace" got mauled. Look at the competition he's been fighting. One of his first title defenses was against a guy fresh out of TUF 1. I guess Rich Franklin should've just dropped down to one knee lol.

Tool? If he has submission skills, why didnt he use any if hes so great? I didnt see him set up any attacks except to hold Kenny down and score points. No skills, no techinque, nothing, if he wasnt stronger than Kenny, kenny would have ended it in the first round. The guy is strong as hell for a lil fella, but i wasnt impressed, not one bit. Just another GNP fighter who lacks technique and sub skills against qulity opponents, ala Hughes.

Well, Florian has good sub defense. Sherk did pass his guard multiple times. They were both soaked in blood and sweat so locking in a sub is alot harder than YOU think. Kenny didnt even get close to subbing him either. So we can now conclude Kenflo has poor sub skills? Get off it. This isnt ADCC. In Sherk's next fight, i guarantee(we'll do an AV, sig, and Loc bet) you he'll either knock out(TKO) or sub his opponent on the GROUND.
