If you aren't in high school, where can you learn wrestling? They don't teach it in any gyms I've seen.

I've always wondered the same thing. I have a couple of friends that wrestled in high school, and have shown me some things, but it's not really a set schedule, and it's more like going over some techs/moves instead of an actual class with the drills, etc.

Many college campuses (such as the one I attend) have recreational wrestling clubs or intramural teams. But to be honest, if I were you I'd just go to a fresstyle submission grappling school that has a wrestling influence to their style (i.e. not a pure Bjj school). The wrestling knowledge you'll get at a place like that will be more than sufficient, and also won't be nearly as limited and impractical for free fighting as high school level wrestling tactics are.

Default I wondered the same thing too

I didn't wrestle in high-school either, luckily I found a guy here in town that works with me, also at BeverlyHillsJJ there are some wrestlers.
This is no substitute for you but I bought the Dan Gable
wrestling essentials tapes and I think you can learn a lot from them if you are a beginner. I train with a partner 3 times per week to the tapes. I have a submission background so I think its easy for me to pick up the info. on the tapes.
