Nice pics., now time to guess how long Couture can last before he taps. I say 3-4 minutes before the takedown, then another 3-4 minutes, so 5-8 minutes and Randy is tapping faster than a Buddy Rich drum solo

Wrong prediction Grasshopper...

Jacare was really active, trying for take downs and submissions. Randy's defense was excellent.

There were two 4 minute matches which ended in a draw, a one minute over time match with no points scored and then a Sudden Death one minute period and still no points so the whole fight was a draw.

Give huge credit to Randy who most thought was going to be mauled by Jacare. Jacare wasn't even breaking a sweat, Randy was really breathing hard yet he still had plenty of gas in the tank to keep up with Jacare.

Because of horrific traffic on all freeways, it didn't start until 9 pm, well past the 7 pm original start time. But once matches got under way, the matches ran quickly.

The Culver City Auditorium is a great venue, there are no bad seats in the whole place. Well there were a few broken chairs here and there (an old place) but the view was good to great. There is even a balcony.

Great event!

I can't wait until #3

Glad to see Couture took him to a draw, didn't expect it either. Expected a quick takedown from Couture, quick sub from Jacare.

It's only natural a much older, out of his prime Couture would be breathing harder than an in prime jacare.

Does this mean Couture will have an invitation to Abu Dhabi?

nope, I was all around the place taking pictures.

I did get a picture with Randy. This guy is one of the coolest guys you can meet from the MMA/UFC world.
I got a chance to meet and chat with Randy at Sub X #1 in Santa Monica. I thanked him for chatting with me, he looked directly into my eyes and said
"No.....thank YOU"

Chuck Liddell is way cool too.

More of my pics are on
http://news.adcombat.com/article.html?id=12173
Big Joe Chalakee also took some of those pics too...

more weigh in pics are on the pro sub league website:

Check out Bibiano Fernandez and his fiancee.
She's from Vancouver, I met her when I was there 3 weeks ago at Tim Shear's school. Vancouver is an awesome city and Tim's place was great to train at.
Bibiano, Wallid Ismael and Marcus Vinicius were all cornering for Jacare.

Randy at Abu Dhabi?
I'm 100% sure he'll get the invite. Whether he shows up or not will be the big question.

Gee just what we need to see, another wrestler stalling for a draw. No sub skills, what else could we expect?
