Yep, I don't need to read the comics anymore because several of the "experts" here totally crack me up.

Actually Fedor is well versed in Sambo more then Judo.He attained the highest ranking ever in Combat Sambo recently. On top of Cro Cop's K-1 level striking he is alot great at wrestling since he has such a mean sprawl.Nog has excellent BJJ as well but also trains with the cuban Boxing team as stated before and he's been training with Darrell Gohlar who is there Greco roman and freestyle wrestling coach for about 6 years now.Wandy has great muay thai but has a black belt in BJJ as well. The point is that yes all started out with a single disclipne(except Fedor and Wandy) and got very good at that then decided to Cross train.....but think about this:how did they get so good at their respective disclipines??? well they trained exclusively in those styles and entered tournaments and got exp applying those skills under pressure in actual competition. Now whats the problem in MMA today? They dont have enough exp in MMA to be as well rounded as some people are....lets be HONEST there are very few people who are actually WELL ROUNDED...why is that?? because new guys these days train everything and enter MMA comp without first getting exp in amatuer mma.Now in Japan Shooto guys are whoppin ass because they have a SYSTEM in place for there fighters to get TONS AND TONS OF EXP in Amaturer MMA Grappling BJJ and Kickboxing/Muay Thai. Now with Shooto as a Style is perfectly blends Multi arts together to fit into MMA....so if you earn your black belt in BJJ you basicly earn your black belt equivalant in Muay thai boxing wrestling etc...on top of your amatuer exp and the rookie tournaments for begining pros it gives the guys a chance to get exp under a great sanctioning body.If America were to implament that structure youd see the change in fighters over the years in terms of well rounded skills.

Maybe you ought to READ a little before commenting

Uke HAS listed his training in the past, plenty of times...he doesn't need to explain himself to every newbe who didn't read the old threads before commenting in the new ones.

So whats your other screen name then because it seems you don't read anything before posting...if you're always this observant you best forget martial arts and hire a bodyguard.
