The world peace is so boring.
If there is no sin in the world, it is so boring. What do you think if there are no wars, no crimes and all people are equality? Is it peace? I think it's wrong. I'm going to tell you why. First the human's history has not peaceful days. Because creatures usually evolve fight in the face of adversity. Humans must think to hunting and farming to live, so human evolve head. Peaceful days don't make progress.
The way out is return to difficult to live day.

Brilliant!

One of my students wrote a bio of her mother lifting liberally from the example in the textbook. The example was about Mohammad Ali. Her conclusion:

"Despite several bad injuries in her career, my mother was never knocked out."

e - i think that's sad that someone would prefer progress (and i truly question this student's ideas of progress) over peace. are the internet and cell phones more valuable than human life? i think that anyone who has lost a loved one would definitely choose life over this type of "progress."

Do you encourage discussion when you teach or do you just give assignments and grade them?

If you have the opportunity to get them to think about something in a different light, I feel you should definately take it. Not trying to tell you how to do your job or anything, just giving an opinion.

I don't really take offense to it. I'm flattered that bobby has been so obsessed with me, even though I haven't posted here in weeks. I don't think he's really gotten over the time a while back where I kind of made fun of him. He didn't really have the intelligence to come back with anything that wasn't ...well kinda sad and gay. LOL.

But it's not a big deal.

Discussion - big time! We were even talking about MA this morning, about the differences between Taekwondo, Wing Chun, and Muay Thai. It's cool having Korean, Chinese, and Thai students all in the same class.
