I've been most unfairly banned from the UG for making negatvie posts about John Lewis. What are the easies ways for getting back on the UG?

I could change internet service providor, but that seems like too much trouble to go through.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

p.s. I'll buy you a beer next time you're in the east bay.

Do you know for sure that's why you were banned? If you email Kirik and apologize he'll probably let you back on. My experience has been that everyone who got banned was banned for a good reason.

IP number and re-register. later!

The easiest way is to surf through a "proxy", that way your IP address is hidden and there is no way in hell they can stop you coming back. Do a google search on public http proxy. You should turn up the address of a few online sites that will allow you to do this.

I don't think this one supports cookies for the free part of the service. Does the UG use Cookies? I know Mousel does.

Aloha: Thanks for the tip. Anonymizer is actually blocked by the UG but other work.

No problem. They're fools if they think blocking proxies will work.
