Default Circuit training

I was watching that old UFC Access with Rich Franklin when I thought I'd give his circuit training a try. I managed to figure out the machines and exercises he does but I am clueless as to whether or not I should do the exercises that target the same muscle group together (one after the other) or split them up (like do dips then curls then tricep exercise on the cable machines). If anybody could shed some light I'd be grateful.

Dude... Into Combat with Monson and Ferguson. Just check it out and get the DVD's, best work out you can possibly get.

I've done both... I think it's a better workout if you can alternate between upper and lower body so you have to rest less between exercises.
