People, all I did was ask an opinion. I never stated my own opinion on anything. However, I do have one thing to say about rolling over to your stomach. I have used it before in a real fight. My opponent didn't choke me out. He punched me a few times in the back of the head before I got an escape and took him down.
The fight went like this. We exchanged a few puncehs. I grabbed him in a straight headlock without the arm and threw him down as hard as I could. We were fighting on asphalt, so I thought it might hurt him a bit. He rolled with the momentum because I put so much effort into slamming him down as hard as I could and tried to land square on top of him, and I immediately moved to the referee's position and established a good base. He started flailing at my head with his dominate arm while attempting hold me down and I simply executed an escape. I took him back down with a single leg and punched him into submission from the mount.
I would not let someone mount me or sidemount me, except I do believe that giving your back is not always that dangerous against an unskilled opponent.
