Sokoudjou KO's Arona

Ever since i saw Sokoudjou DESTROY little Nog i knew he was gonna be a force. I knew it wasnt a fluke. He improves leaps and bounds every fight and takes the most advantage of his training with Team Quest. His Judo career was no different.

Did you see the reflexes on Soko when Arona tried to take him down jesus that guy is quick as lightning....that uppercut was deadly as well he was OUT!

Ive never seen anyone sprawl in mid air after their leg has been caught. His takedown defense is sick. The very millisecond after they disengaged from the grapple, he hit him with the uppercut.

Sokoudjou is the next superstar. He'd KO Chuck, Shogun, Wanderlei and any 205er.

I agree that he is def gonna be a superstar very soon....however we havnt seen his ground game yet and he was ko'ed only a few months ago by Glover Texeira in the WEC...that leads me to believe he has a suspect chin.Granted anyone can be caught and ko'ed Glover lost to Ed Herman who is absolute trash...i believe that the above stated at this point in his career would ko him easily as long as they engage.

Early stoppage IMO...

I know Soukodjou was running around to kick him in the head, and that very well could have ended it, but I thought it was still early, Arona can take more than that ,he's taken wanderlei to two decisions after all, plus he seemed fine after.

Like right after.

Early stoppage, but still very impressive.

Rumor:

Sokoudjou Wanderlei to be main event at Pride LWGP opening round.

Looks like they're trying to set him up as the Brazilian Killer.

just watch the loop Triangle posted, his hands fall back, he's not intelligently defending himself.

I see him trying to follow him with his legs to regain gaurd, and moving his hands back to stop the kicks, which he does stop one at least in the Gif.

Im not saying sok wouldnt have won eventually. But he was still in it.

I like Wanderlei, but to bad he'll get KO'd again.
