I hear a lot of folk bashing Cro Cop, talking about how overrated he is and whatever, and I gotta say that this is a fighter who doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. His old job is waaaay more dangerous than being an MMA fighter (you don't get to be a "former Croatian anti-terrorist commando" by being a wuss).

The one thing I've always liked about Mirko is that he's never come off of a bad loss gun shy. There are a lot of fighters out there who get knocked out, and come back a little hesitant in the ring/octagon (anybody remember when Arlovsky knocked out everyone who go in the ring with him?). Cro Cop takes a loss and comes back strong.

Good point!

I've never thought anything low of the guy; he's a true renaissance warrior - as a member of the Croation anti-terrorist unit, top MMA contender and politician!

Lol yea he is the man. Imagine trying to gather support to defeat one of his bills... he'll just fuckin head kick you.

Or maybe, when the media reports on him, they say things like "well, he just head kicked that bill outa parliment".
