I know what you mean. That's why I'm asking around the message boards. I wouldn't mind spending the $500+ if its worthwhile, but its a leap of faith spending that much money and not knowing if anyone is getting anything worthwhile out of the package.

I don't know, I just don't believe in learning BJJ from books. About the sponsorship, I think as long as your top material you can get it, even though he says otherwise. Sure you might spend some cash from your pocket at first, but getting a gold medal or two will definitely get you sponsorship.

Thanks. True that probably is the way to go to get sponsors.That and probably promote yourself on as many sites as possible [ie. Mysoace, Bebo,etc]
