Default Faber vs "Kid"

Who would win?

I havent seen much of Yamamoto fight, but i know he's a really good wrestler, better than Faber, but that doesnt mean Faber couldnt take him down.

Kid has better kickboxing and is probably quicker than Faber. Kid would have to defend the takedown, and Urijah would have to get it to the ground. Simple as that. I think Faber's ground game is better than Kid's too, especially if elbows are allowed. Hopefully K1 or UFC will set this fight up.

I'm not sure Faber could take him down, or even come close, but I guess in MMA, anything is possible.

I agree, Faber's jiu-jitsu is somewhat better, though not much.

Personally, I see Faber getting beat down the whole time, standing, or on the ground, though Faber is a bigger dude. He cuts some weight to get to 145, while Kid weighs in at like 42.

I'd see it as a unanimous decision in Kid's favor.

Faber is so overhyped....he wins of of his wrestling and elbows....he has 6 cut stopages thats just pain crazy.Kid is beter then faber at everything...and if they were to fight it would HAVE to be in Japan.Kid would never come to WEC to fight Faber when he's so popular in Japan....the fight would be huge there and that takes away Faber only shot...elbows.

Well he definitly couldn't land any elbows anyway, due to Kid's far superior wrestling ability. But I think Faber has much more of a chance than you're giving him.
