I still like reading up on Spetsnaz operations in Afghanistan and Chechnya.

Anyway, a word to all Russian martial arts fans: For God's sake remember never buy Alexander Popov's videos (spetsnaz-gru.com). They may look good, but the videos are worthless homemade backyard crap copied onto store-bought DVD-R discs that are hour-long lectures so poorly translated, you literally couldn't understand them if you played it over 300 times again.

If you're going with something Russian, go with Vladimir Vasiliev (if you don't already know the name).

I'm sure it'd take 200,000,000 years to remotely perfect. I really only posted that video because I thought he took those multiple attackers well.

the thing about the part were he took multiple attackers is that they all pretty much attacked 1 at a time, one after another. they didnt really actually work together or attack at once. it would have been different if one guy had gone for his legs, another for his upperboddy, and the rest just started raining blows on him.

True, true. Maybe I spoke too soon. This is where "More than one, use a gun" comes into play.

Although they did all only attack one at a time, even multiple attackers have to beware.

Not only do you have to worry about the opponent but also about what your buddies are doing. Either on their own or because of something the "attackee" did to them.
