I know it's an older thread, but I saw this reply and had to of course mention two things. Anderson Silva did exactly this very thing beautifully and everyone thought it was an improvised move. Master Chai has been teaching this for a while now, so I'm sure many other Thai boxing teachers are as well. It's certainly not a low risk option, but it can work well especially if you have something like a fence at your back.

Assuming he has your right leg...if you can get head/neck control with your R hand and control his free hand with your L hand and push it down, you can jump into a flying triangle. Just watch out for the slam.

Default Just walk forward.

I find it best to just pretend I am walking up a very steep slope. Put all your weight on the leg he has and step with the other leg like your walking forward up the next step. If he hangs on he'll be drive face first into the floor with you on top of him.

Iv found pushing off the foot theyve caught and rolling or breakfalling away works well for me only probly is it can hurt a bit if you muck the roll up haha, and makes for a dramatic escape :P
