While preparing for his debut in the Octagon, Maurício Shogun (16-2-0) revealed that he is upset about the fact that Wanderlei Silva (31-7-1) is trainning at Randy Couture's (16-8-0) academy... home of his next opponent, Forrest Griffin (14-4-0). Even though Shogun isn't likely to face (his friend) Wanderlei he spit this words to the press. About his brother, he said that Murilo Ninja (14-7-1) is in great shape to defend his EliteXC middleweight belt against Robbie Lawler (14-4-0).

still, not surprising that the chute boxe camp might be upset. outside of how long they have trained together, this seems to be a slightly "brazilian" thing. they are fiercely nationalistic in this way. you see it quite a bit at grappling tournaments if a two brazilians face off and one resides in the states. all the brazilians will boo that one as a traitor.
