Bisping vs Hamill WTF?(spoilers!)

Who else thought Hamill got robbed? I'm not a Hamill fan, but he scored multiple takedowns, spent more time on top, and did a decent amount of damage to Bisping's face.

When we heard the decision, me and my friend just kind of stared at the screen in disbelief. It was definitely a win Bisping should not be proud of.

I thought that was the most shameful display of judging. Shame on Joe for not calling it out for what it was when he interviewed them after the fight. It's things like this that really piss me off and turn me off from the sport. That wasn't even close....

I thought Bisping won 2nd and 3rd rounds,so gave the fight to him,Hamill was gassed,Bisping didnt fight great and yes the fight was close but he did just enough imho.

You must have been watching a different from than the one that was on last night. Hamill wiped the ring with Bisping's behind. I wasn't impressed by the "win."

this was the most interesting fight of the night inmop. i always enjoy watching matt hamill fight, he is pretty tough. he just needs to learn to finish his opponents, and he needs to learn to protect himself a bit better. but for a guy who knew nothing but wrestling, he has made lots of progress. he was knocking bisping around with his sloppy punches, imagine how much power his hands are going to have once he knows how to really utilize them.

Yeah, those were the most ridiculous punches I've ever seen. I still think he won though and so did my boyfriend and we were both rooting for Bisping. The other three people we were with were rooting for Hamill and concurred. I guess I thought Hamill's punches were sloppy and Bisping could easily get out of the takedowns, but what did Bisping do? Very little other than fire off a bunch of punches that didn't connect. The combinations were great except that they were ineffective.. I'd even say that Hammill won all three rounds, and I'm not even a fan! I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I wonder if that fight was fixed to build a bigger UK fan base; I wouldn't put it past Dana White.

Bisping had home-court advantage.

Hamill obviously won though. i cant wait to see his next fight.

I just so glad Rampage won. now blacks will be more into UFC. Also, Rampage wouldve TKO'd Dan if there was atleast 10 seconds left in the 5th round.

The third round of Bisbing-Hamill was close. I might have given it to Bisbing just for rallying and showing heart, but I could have seen it going the other way. If he'd fought like that for all three rounds I could see it going to either fighter, but as it was, no way. Even if you give the third round to Bisbing, Hamill was the clear winner of the first two rounds. He landed more and harder strikes, controlled the fight when it went to the ground, and showed much, much better ring generalship than Bisbing. I really didn't care who won going into the fight, but my jaw literally dropped at that decision.

Hammill was robbed. Granted his striking lacked great form, but you're not supposed to be judged on form. You are judged on effective striking and one look at Bisping's face and Hammill's face would tell anyone who was striking more effectively. Hammill chased Bisping around the octagon the entire fight (hence, he was the aggressor), had better takedowns and superior mat-work. Bisping did not look impressive at all. His footwork was very unnatural and uncomfortable appearing. I think Dana might want to reconsider who he annoints as his UK poster-boy. On top of all that, Bisping is a jerk with a crappy attitude. Just my two cents.
