There is a guy that wants to spar with groin kicks. The person he's sparring can wear a cup, but he said he won't. He said he can take it. He lives in Austin. He sounded serious, so I told him I would find him some people.

Well, I figured you would say something Shimora

1) I didn't think you wuold say something along those lines, but usually because you post something about kicking people in the groin and such as part of your "ninja" repretoir I thought you would have wanted to.

2) That guy is not me. He im'd me before on Yahoo! messenger. I told him that I would find somebody else to spar with also. That is why I posted it here. Shimora - if you never spar with groin kicks (which is probably the case), or don't spar in general (which is believeable), then just don't e-mail him

3) Many of the posts start in a serious manner - until you post something.

nope, I never go to their site - though I do get their newsletter. I don't post on martial arts sites much, unless I'm usually looking for an answer to a question I have at the moment. I use to by "sharper" here a couple of years ago, but even then I didn't post much.

yea, Shamora is interesting. Every now and then he totally amazes me - by that I mean he has something worthwhile to read.

The guy I initially wrote about found me by probably doing a seach because on my yahoo! messenger I list Muay Thai as one of the things I like. It's amazing who e-mails you then, and sometimes it keeps going.

the whole thing sounds like bull sheeeet to me.

I put on one profile that I am into BJJ and used to do Kung Fu and some fool wants to fight me.

about 8 months later, the same fool wants to fight me again.

Imbeciles, weirdo's, jerks and losers.

tell the guy to meet you for a fight and then send him to a "blue oyser" bar.

In my old karate style, black belts would throw groin kicks while wearing cups.

It hurt, but not as bad as you'd think. We also didn't kick full-power. Even a tap was enough to let someone know they left themselves open.

It is a good counter to a high kick.

I knew that custom made, extra large, jumbo sized Kevlar cup would come in handy.
