If you subscribe to black belt magazine then you know on page 129 of the December 2007 issue Dan Henderson has been named MMA Fighter of the year. I think they dropped the ball. Rampage Jackson beat both Dan Henderson and Chuck Liddlell in 2007. Rampage you were robbed.

That is an odd one. Dan pulled off a good one when he beat Wanderlei and won belts in two classes in February, but Rampage won two titles when he beat Dan, not to mention taking the belt from Chuck in the first place. Maybe the article was printed before he beat Dan.
No way, it's the December 2007 issue and it's the Fighter of the year for 2007. It would be irresponsible to pick a fighter of the year after say 7 or 8 months.

i dont know about bb magazine but when i wrote for a magazine the articles were 2-3 months in advance

I never see it in grocery stores. I only see RealFighter and Ultimate Grappling magazine now.
Try wal mart or some other grocery store or a fine book store.

Why on earth would the December issue be released 2 months early?!?! It doesn't make sense, in particular if you're going to be announcing annual awards!!!
