Exclamation Rio Heroes fighters talk about the event

The most controversial fighting organization in the world, Rio Heroes, is criticized by many but it continues with its amazing marketing strategy and with huge PPV sell. The fighters are also very happy and totally defend the event. One of the main reasons for criticism is the rules, the same as the ones featuring in the old vale tudo events. watched a few Rio hero fights, the event does look like a street fight or interclub grudge match fight, which is not a good image for general mass public seeing MMA for first time.

However the Vale tudo rules are where modern day mma started and do represent a more realistic fight. It also is a major advantage to a grappler with no rounds/ no stand up for inactivity etc.

Therefore events like this are god to have, but I would not let too many non MMA fans see it!
