dude... i was in the same place... i didn't move. i saw you milling around with rey and david. btw, what was up with david's son? he didn't get 1st place? it looked like there was a mix up or something. i saw david talking with john... eh.
anway, you started out well, but that other guy was pretty aggressive and just caught you. no biggie. AT LEAST YOU WERE OUT THERE! good job man. ttyl.

For what I have heard and noticed is that Jon burke is unhappy and not there much. Marc is only doing privates and has a good full time job now. As for Art he moved to Texas. I will still train there because Royce is a great guy and I like his classes, plus I have some good friends there. I heard Rener taught a class on Friday night and everyone enjoyed it.
As for Ryron coming back as a Black, I heard from a good sore on Sat. but we will se he comes back today. |

Has anybody noticed how big Ryron is?I saw a pic of him in Gracie Magazine and he is HUDGE! Does Rener ever go to Brazil?

My parents met Rokler on a plane
My parents were on a plane flying from Rio to Orlando and recognized him to be a Gracie by his looks and Acadamy shirt that he was wearing. My Mom introduced herself to him during the flight and he invited her to sit and chat. She said that his english was not the best but he talked with her for the better part of an hour and by the end of the conversation was offering her the shirt off his back to autograph. My folks said that he was a real great guy and good for the Gracie name. They also visited the original acadamy while in Rio and said they treated them extremely well. My parents told them that we were from the Midwest and the first thing they asked is if their son was a wrestler. My parents got a chuckle out of that because I told them that would be the reaction. She said they kind of have this image of the Mark Colman- Randy Catour style of fighter in their heads if you tell them you are from the Midwest. They were surprised to hear that i trained in BJJ and had never wrestled. I guess it would be like a Brazillian coming here with only a wrestling background.

I don't want to inflate the rumors around Caique, but I have on good authority that Caique has shown interest in a place not far from City of Torrance.
Someone mentioned that he is going to the East Coast soon, but for now, I guess he is just setting up shop to teach his loyal followers in the area. |

Your very much correct! Caique is NOT going to abandon his loyal students in the L.A area. As you might know he has a number of talented students that left Torrance months before he resigned his position there. IMO he has more than one student ready for brown belt. Once he has helped set up shop there he's off to the BIG APPLE! He going to have to be there before September to make arrangements for his son in the school system. If he's not there by then he's going to be letting a lot of his east coast friends down. Time will tell! |
