even though his knee was past Mir's hips there was still alot of pressure there (and on his upper shin) because Mir likes to really crank any submission he does as hard as he can.

Yea, he kept cranking even after Brock had tapped. LOL. He had to be sure the ref saw the tap out.

Default A giant killer...

It's great to see real technique beat brute force and a knee bar is nice little tool with a nuber of ways to get there.

Mir is gonna get the shit kicked outta him, as much as I respect Mir. For real he broke someguys arm i have been following up on the Mir vs. Lesnar vids the whole time. I really want Lesnar to win, just to prove wrestling is just as well a deadly art as anything else. Because it is.

What makes pro-wrestlers (WWE) so competitive is that many of these guys come from freestyle/greco wrestling backgrounds - they have great balance, coordination and all the moves to take a guy down and control him.

On top of that they are paid to stay in top physical condition most of the year and are used to taking bumps and falls.

And yes alot of the moves done in pro-wrestling are deadly; kids kill each other all the time doing pile drivers, suplexes and body drops in their back yard.

crazy match... I just watched it ... I MAKE NO MISTAKE when i say in all terms Mir did NOT luck out. Brock, simply was ready defensively or aware of these things in the MMA. I think that he knew how to fight offensive but he had no clue what the opponent was gonna be packing.
