Default Arm Inside Guillotine

After seeing so many Arm Inside Guillotine finishes lately in UFC, I've been wondering how to actually apply this technique. I always figured getting an arm inside would be part of the guillotine defense. So anybody care to shed some insight on how to apply an Arm-Inside-Guillotine?

BJ Penn told me that you need to move your hips out to the side that the arm is trapped on.

Works much better when you do that, dont know what else I can tell you other then that though lol.

Lol, appreciate the response. So basically just finish like any other guillotine but move your hips out to the side?

Yeah its pretty much the same thing, you can finish the arm inside guillotine just off your back but it depends on how deep its sunk and what kind of resistance they put up.

If you move your hips out to the side, finish like a regular guillotine, just always try to think of bringing your hands through their neck/throat.

If your straight back its easy, but if you moved your hips out and applied pressure in teh same direction was when your hips are just under them, it wouldnt work it would be like pulling their head off.

So move your hips out, then apply pressure in the right direction accordingly.

Should try to bring the hand thats around the neck (without the arm inside), through their neck.

Hope that helps.

you need to move your head towards your feet in the direction of whatever side the trapped arm is on. this makes the choke tight. Kind of like youre curling up in a 'C' shape. Renzo Gracie does it nicely.
