Well MMA instruction is that of Muay thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling/Judo......... what the **** do you call those things???? martial arts!

Names don't mean anything. It is what it is. MMA may be martial arts... but what i see when i look at the majority of MMA is a comercialized sport. It's scewed from what's martial arts in essence.

thats just the competition aspect of it. I know youre probably caught up in the whole "oh, sensei said its not honorable because its fighting for a business" ......You do realize that there is way more people training in MMA who focus on the self defense/street aspect only..... far more numbers of those people then those who actually compete.

to me when i think MMA i see stuff like UFC. This is the direction MMA has shifted towards.
If i google search "MMA", majority of the sites and pics are sport fights. or UFC-like competitions and this is what i mean when i say "majority". I have nothing against it but is this martial arts?
