The FFC will be hosting its first submission grappling tournament! The FFC Submission Grappling Open will be the best grappling tournament in Florida! The event is also sanctioned by the North American Grappling Association (NAGA). NAGA is the largest sport-grappling tournament circuit in America.

The FFC Submission Grappling Open will take place on May 5, 2001 at Miami, Florida! The tournament has kid, teen, women, senior, and adult divisions. There are also many weight classes and skill levels - such as beginner, intermediate, and advanced. There will also be an absolute division which anyone can enter. The winner of the absolute division will win a Championship Belt! All the competitors may compete in as many events as they want - at no extra charge. So if you lose your first match in beginner - you may compete in intermediate for free!

If you register before April 14, you pay only $35! If you register at the door, it will cost $50. So save $15 and register now! The matches will take place on new high quality zebra mats. We will also be having a raffle for all the competitors and spectators! We will be giving out shirts, caps, gear, and the grand prize - a Sega Dreamcast with the UFC Video Game!

At the event, we will also be having two great superfights:

Mike Cardoso (USA 2001 Abu Dhabi Qualifier) vs Federico Pereira (FFC Lightweight Finalist)

and

Roger Neff (USA 2001 Abu Dhabi Qualifier and Former USA Greco-Roman Olympic Alternate) vs Wade Rome (2001 Arnold Classic Champion and Former 3-Time NCAA All-American)

Don't miss out on all the action! For all the rules, registration forms, directions, etc., please visit the official website at www.floridamartialarts.com . The website has all the information. But if you have any questions, feel free to send an email to marcos@go.cc or call (954) 385-7740. Thanks and hope to see you there!
