When was the last time you trained for 12 rounds of professional boxing? Its 3 months, 6 days a week, 8 hours a day of pain, sweat, grit, fight and heart. Roy Jones did it 52 times, not to mention dominating his amateur division and coming out of one of the toughest gyms. You think that being a world champion is about that 45 mins you see on your TV screen? And you say you used to box? Wow, you must have been the man, at least thats what you clearly think. |

If you ignored it you wouldn't have responded so seriously to the joke, but rather ignored it
. I think you took what I said seriously. Welcome to defend.net btw.

That was one hell of a movie. I've seen it several times.

As you wish Mr.B. I enjoyed his old posts but I'm not big on the whole "coffin at the ringside" mentality or PIT fighting in general...
RIP WM.

Yeah, his old posts were great. It's not his posts I take issue with - it's his willingness to argue and insult and complain and flame even after attempts at peacemaking.
The self-righteous martyr, "I didn't draw first blood" line only works if no one apologizes. Once an apology is made and the guy decides to keep being a titanic prick about things? Well, then he goes away. |

I fairly expected the end result to be honest.
It's sad to see the pit dog go but once he clamps his jaws on something there ain't much choice but to break out the crowbar. In a manner of speaking...

Great fight... Fairly mixed reaction to the TKO. I do wish Frank S a speedy recovery and congrats to Mr. Le. I'd like to say well done but it was probably not his best fight and I'm sure he knows it.
He should work on his ground game or have a back up plan to backing up. Frank could have closed with his aggressive combinations as sloppy as they are and knocked Le on his ass but he waited too long and got caught with his arm in the way. So much for "blocking" kicks, eh?

This just in.... Shamrock says he cracked his arm in the 1st round but kept fighting until he felt it seperate. . . If this is true then I guess everything William Munny was throwing out there as Frank not being man enough for him would be wrong.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CiXaE76I-A Thats a self made Youtube vid by F.Srock.

Well, people like Munny/Pit/Jack/whatever his next screen name attempt happens to be will say is that Frank is lying or that a plate and six pins is nothing. A "Real" warrior would have fought until he needed two plates. Or until he needed twelve pins. Or until his other arm was broken too.
![]() And then he'd talk smack and call everyone a child or a girl. And then he'd get banned again. ![]() |
