Penetration is the most important thing for a takedown (excluding the Setup which is the basis for any and all moves). Work on your duck walks and just practice taking fast quick shots with perfect form. After you get good at that go buy resistance bands and wrap it around a pole and practice the takedowns that way.

Your question makes it sound like you're asking for help with endurance and not the takedown itself. Try some burpees, they'll burn you out pretty fast.

Sakuraba's workout is pretty inspirational as well

o_O. Bizarre. I never would have expected to hear Sakuraba (a smoker and drinker) being talked about as inspirational for conditioning.
