Default Situation III

Ok..........

You are in an over-under tie with your opponent (never mind how you got there). He's got killer leg shots and, if in that context, better hands than you. He's also got about 15 pounds on you and is fast and aggressive.

............go!

Ur pretty much doomed . Unless you have a far better ground game that is. I'd personally keep the over hook and try to pull guard in this case. That way, once I hit the groundn I already have him broken down and then try to submit him quick from there.

fake the hipthrow from the underhook to get his weight shifted on that one foot and knee pick it while driving through him. speed is the key. 15 pounds is not all the much.

Hold on to his arm and escape one side, step or throw your leg over his arm into an armbar or triangle (Sankaku jime) choke...(takedown) Flying "things" are cool...

For clarification, you mean an over-under tie that looks like this picture?

Pinch-Grip Tie

Got it, thanks. If he's a better wrestler than me, I don't want to wrestle him; sag my hips away from him, push his head away at the chin, and elbow him in the face and head (if legal). Get to strking distance and pray like hell I have better cardio.

Or alternatively, when faced with a larger and stronger opponenet: Up up down down left right left right B A start.
