yeah, but they spend their time playing with toy weapons, and practicing imaginary techniques against invisible partners, allowing them to simulate all kinds of ridiculous techniques that would never work, on people that arent even there. or if they do partner work, they practice pretending to hit eachother in vital spots, while the partner doesnt even fade when he is pretending to receive all kinds of crushing blows.

the only ninjas that are cool are these guys, and thats only cause whoever runs the school made sure to make his art look as close as possible to what you see ninjas doing the movies, which is evading staff strikes with backflips and working on agility etc....

lol look at that student at 0:53 ......thats slick, thats same technique napoleon dynamites cousin did to Rex.

LOL. There was some guy at my old gym who would try to do the flying spinny kicks when we sparred (they called the class MMA but it was 95% no gi submission grappling). I always laughed at him and told him he should just do a Thai kick and miss instead because it wouldn't look as stupid.

I'm definitely all about training alive but luckily when I did train with ninjas we did some all out brawling. Except they didn't know a whole ton and I'd find myself calling friends mid-session saying things like, "I'm at this ninja class and none of us can figure out how to get out of rear naked choke in rear mount, help!" and hastily scrawling things down.
