SweepEm will become famous soon enough
Cool

I attended Prof. Marcelo Alonso's seminar at our school
last year.

If anyone is nearby, you should take this oppurtunity to train with a black belt that will show you more moves than you can possibly remember........

As with every move, there is a counter, how about a half dozen counters........

There are openings where you can try a subsmission, how about over a half dozen.......

Prof. Alonso has been described as a BJJ encylopedia and I was able to witness first hand, the knowledge.
Just phenomenal...............

If you do attend the semina, you will walk away shaking your head.

It reminded me of my first week in my college chemistry class, asking myself how I am going to remember all this stuff..........NO WAY.............

Thumbs up

Yeah, Marcelo is definetly a great instructor. Not only does he know thousands of submissions/counters, but he is very patient. I remember when I first started taking bjj and I couldn't do the simple steps of taking the mount from the side mount, he sat there with me for 5-10 minutes and he never got frustrated, and i think thats one of the most important qualities instructors can have.

Default Go!

I totally agree! I had the opportunity to attend the second day of a seminar he held in L.A. and he is as billed... "a walking encyclopedia of Jiu-Jitsu".

If you are anywhere near this area, you've GOT to go!
