2008 BJJ Worlds
Sorry, wasn't sure how to title this thread. I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that one of my "guys" slash training partners just took 3rd in the BJJ Worlds in the Adult Brown Belt Super-Super Heavy Weight division (he weighs about 230 pounds. Brandon "The Iron Horse" Ruiz is a force and his game has come so d*mn far in the last couple of years that it is seriously frightening! He went from being one of the best Greco Roman Wrestling around (2nd in the Greco Panams 2005), to one of the best sub-grappling guys in the country (4X Pancrase Sub-Grappling World Champ), and now he is moving into the elite levels of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition.
Absolutely f*ckin' INCREDIBLE!!!!
