I Never Got My Ralph Gracie Tapes!

FOUR WEEKS AGO I ORDERED RALPH GRACIE'S FULL SET OF HIS NEW TAPES. I USED A CREDIT CARD SO THAT I WOULD RECEIVE THEM QUICK, AND SOONER THAN A MAIL IN ORDER. HOWEVER, THIS PISSES ME OFF THAT MY CARD HAS BEEN CHARED (AS FAR AS I KNOW) AND I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING FROM US MAIL, FED-EX, ECT. WHEN I ORDERED THEM, I WAS TOULD THAT I WOULD TAKE ABOUT A WEEK TO GET THEM TO ME. TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT I CALLED BACK AND THE GUY WAS UNDERSTANDING AND SAID "WE GATTA FINISH COPYING THE WHOLE SET AND WE'LL SEND THEM OUT TO YOU" I ASKED IF THEY WOULD BE TO ME BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK? AND HE SAID "OH BEFORE THEM".... THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER A WEEK AGO.

AM I WRONG TO WOUNDER WHATS GOING ON WITH $300.00 DOLLORS OF MY MONEY?

I DON'T WANT TO BE A PAIN IN THE ACS, BUT DAWM HAS THIS HAPPED TO ANYONE ELSE?

I sent a BJJ handbook to a guy on this forum who was to burn a cd of the stones for payment.I sent him a $30 book and he couldnt be bothered to burn a 99 cent disk.
I personaly have sent tapes all the way to Austrailia and had very good luck with getting payment.Then others couldnt seem to keep their word.So,you never know who you are dealing with.Buyer beware.

No problem. You should be glad you paid by CC because you are protected.

It's illegal to charge your card until the product ships. In the business this is known as a "book & ship" transaction. They are allowed to "book" the charge when you order, booking reserves the credit on your CC, when they send the product, the booked charge is changed to "ship" and the funds charged to the account. If they prematurely placed a "ship" transaction in your card they are in violation, or if they used a regular old point of sale transaction (I'm betting they did it this way), they are also in violation.

Call you CC company right away and dispute the charge. Also, demand to talk to the fraud department.
