Thumbs up

Wedensday on Fuji TV they had a segment on a late night sports news program called 'Suporuto'. It was the third sport they covered after Major League and Japanese baseball (I turned the TV off when the soccer coverage started). Unfortunately Takada was the host for that segment. It was kind of funny because about the only highlights they showed were Japanese guys tapping out. One thing I found interesting was that fighters they were most interested in were foreign guys that have fought in Pride. They poined out Mark Kerr, Mario Sperry, Vitor Belfort, Ricco Rodriguez and Royler Gracie. Didn't even mention the fact that Kikuta beat Ribeiro. They interviewed the Sheik who said Sakuraba was his favorite fighter. He said he wants Saku to come fight in AD. Then they cut to Sak who jokingly said, "I'm really happy to hear that but it's too far. If they have it somewhere like Saitama Super Arena maybe I'll go."
