United States Pankration National Championships
November 9th 2008
Santa Ana, California.

One of a kind Custom National Championship Belts will be awarded to all Men's division champions.
Customized National Championships Medals will be awarded in all other division first, second and third place winners.
(Men and Teen/ Junior divisions will have two 3rd place medalists)

Interested Athletes must place in a "qualifying tournament" or apply as a "Wild Card Entry" to earn a spot in the National Championships.

Amateur, non-licensed fighters only
Divisions:
Men ages 18 and older (9 weight classes)
Women ages 14 and older (3 Weight classes)
Male Teens/Juniors ages 14-17 (8 Weight classes)
Kids ages 11-13 (5 Weight classes mixed boys & girls)
Kids ages 8-11 (5 Weight classes mixed boys & girls)
Kids ages 7 and below (3 Weight classes mixed boys & girls)

Men and Teen Weight divisions will each have 16 opening per division.
Women and Kids age and weight divisions will each have 8 openings per division.

All divisions will be first filled by 2008 qualifiers and accepted Wild Card applicants.
All registration forms must be pre-registered and pre-paid, postmarked by Nov. 3, 2008. Additional openings, if any will be announced after Nov. 6, 2008.

PREVIOUS QUALIFIERS:
You must have placed in one of these tournaments to qualify for the National Championships.
Qualifiers DO NOT have to compete in the same age & weight group as they qualified in. 1st – 4th place finalists qualify in advanced/ open divisions or if only one division was available. All other divisions qualify 1st – 3rd place finalist only.

2008 National Team Championships – July 26th, All Participants are pre-qualified
2008 World Cup of Martial Arts Pankration – April 11, 2008 Green Bay Wisconsin.

WILD CARD ENTRIES: We will take wild card entries on a case by case basis.
We will consider Wild Card applications in the following order. Those not accepted will receive a full refund. Once a specific division is full we will not accept any Wild Cards.
#1- Live outside a reasonable driving range from any qualifiers.
#2- Competition in your specific division was not available at a Qualifier in your region. This mainly for kids and Women if their divisions were not available in an existing event.
#3- Placed in a 2007 Sanctioned Tournament but was unable to compete in a 2008 event due to injury, deployment or illness.
#4- Any other reason not listed above.

**The only guaranteed way to gain a spot in the National Championships will be through a qualifying tournament. Wild cards are not guaranteed.**
