i just read a short story in the usa today about an "air rage" incident involving some fruitcake from the band r.e.m. anyway, it didn't go into detail, but it said he assaulted two crew members and caused some damage to the interior of the plane. it also said that he was drunk. now if he was drunk, does that make it "air rage"? i think that term is bullshit--like something "takes them over" in the air and sends them into a rage. if this happened in a bar it wouldn't be "bar rage". even if he was in a car it wouldn't be "road rage", it would have been drunk driving.
this is a tad bit annoying to me because yours truly was once almost kicked off of a plane for what they would have labeled "air rage", even though i was the one being totally antagonized by the flight attendant!(you know, the guy that says "buh-bye"). but regardless, there's more than a few flight attendants out there who could benefit from a good kick in the smack in the mouth. |

I think every single "air rage" incident I've read about involved a drunk. It seems like a simple solution would be to stop serving alcohol on airplanes. Not that I support that idea. I wish these bastards would quit acting up before they ruin it for the rest of us. What would international flights be without free booze? Next time I get drunk and nail a fat chick I'm going to blame it on d!ck rage.
